About
MattressRestFalls is a reference for the numbers printed on bed listings that have to agree with each other before a bed goes together.
Where the figures come from
Every size, height, thickness, pocket and capacity on this site comes from the listing descriptions supplied with the catalog, 56 listings in all. Nothing was measured, tested or used here. A field a listing leaves out is shown as not stated; it is never estimated, averaged or copied from a similar product.
Counts are calculated from those records when the site is built, so a number in a sentence and the list beside it come from the same place. Facts about certification programs and published rules come from the pages cited at the foot of each article.
What this site does not say
It makes no statement about bodies, comfort or how anyone rests. It does not match a mattress, a feel word or a height to any person. Seller phrases about comfort, temperature or the body are quoted as the seller printed them and are never repeated as a claim of this site.
This site is not a source on beds, mattresses or bedding for children of any age, and it says nothing on that subject. Where a listing mentions children or a particular kind of bed, those words are quoted and nothing is built on them.
It gives no directions for assembling a frame, unpacking a mattress, handling a cover or plugging anything in. Those belong to each maker’s instructions. Capacity figures are quoted, never confirmed, and a charging nightstand that states no safety listing is described as stating none, with no conclusion drawn either way.
How it is organized
The Agreements pages each take one pair of numbers that must agree. The Parts pages explain what each part of a bed states. The Seals pages describe the marks printed beside the numbers, and the Gear pages hold the listings themselves.
