The nightstand

A nightstand listing states what it carries: drawers, bins, shelves and, on six listings, a charging station. None of that has to agree with the bed, and a stated height, where one appears, has no partner either.

The charging listings name USB ports, outlets or both, and zero of them state a UL or ETL listing. UL Solutions says the UL Mark means a product has been certified to meet safety, quality or security standards; Intertek says the ETL Listed Mark shows a product was independently tested and certified by Intertek. A listing that names neither mark has not stated one. This site draws no conclusion from that in either direction, and anything about plugging in belongs to the maker’s instructions.

One item filed in this category is a tall dresser. Its listing calls it both a dresser and a nightstand, and the category page keeps it in a group of its own.
