Which links are affiliate links

Only the product buttons that lead to an Amazon listing. They carry an affiliate tag, and they are marked in the page code as sponsored links. Links to certification programs, published rules and photo credits are ordinary links.

What it costs a buyer

Nothing extra. A purchase made through one of those buttons costs the same as the same purchase made directly.

What it does not change

Commissions do not decide which listings are filed, what order they appear in, which badge a card carries or what the tools report. Badges are worked out from stated figures, and the order within each category follows those figures, not earnings.
